When I studied Architecture, my favorite house was designed by my favorite Architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. In 1935 he designed a house known as the Kaufmann Residence but more famously known as Falling Water.
Built in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, the house is built over a waterfall. This piece of revolutionary design has won numerous awards and is also a front-runner on the bucket list of many.
The property has been donated to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy which has open the doors to the public as a museum. To date, the house has lured in over 7 million visitors and was designated as a National Historic Landmark.
