Maintaining a healthy, beautiful garden can be a little annoying, especially, to those who do not enjoy much of green thumb. So, why not get a garden with artificial trees, plants, grass and silk flowers to get rid of all the worries associated with real lawns?
Natural gardens ask for so much of efforts – you need to water them every morning and evening and manure and trim them every now and then. And, even though you cannot be sure of keeping them alive all year round! This may truly be heart breaking – you would certainly have hated throwing away the dead plants and trees.
Artificial gardens, on the other hand, are coming to be admired by all for the simple reasons that they require (almost) no maintenance and retain their long-lasting freshness. Another fact that makes them more popular is that they are easy to install: one could install them on their own.
Before you start with the installation process, measure the area that has to be turned into an enviable garden.
To install synthetic grass, excavate the area by removing the old grass and dig a gravel foundation layer. This is to provide support to the synthetic turf. Also, make sure to spray insecticides or weedicides before hand. Compact the sand by applying vibrating plate.
Coming to preparing the turf, roll out the grass and align its seams. Make its borders to match the shape of the garden area and trim any overlaps between adjacent grass rolls. Finally, get the synthetic grass to stick to the ground with the use of strong adhesives – get the perimeters of the rolls nailed for added durability.
Now you may need to dress up the garden with artificial trees and plants. For this purpose get a plenty of interesting, decorative containers such as clay planters, pitchers, baskets, urns, earthen pots and so on. Make respective pairs of the containers and luscious arrangements – arrange plants into antique urns and fanciful silk flower arrangements in casual containers like baskets.
Make sure to mix the varieties of artificial plants, trees and flowers (better is to go for the replicas of real things that grow in your zone) to provide more authentic look and feel to the overall garden decorations.
Next, bring in a splash of colour with artificial flowers. Deliciously arranged into baskets, bouquets or as flowering plants or trees, they make your garden look fabulous.
Finally, add a garden ornament or two to add artistic fun to the place. Various stylish garden sculptures and ornaments like garden mirrors, gnomes; outdoor candles or memorial plaques etc will be more than enough to complement the entire settings.
